Nothing. The home visit and the quote are always free of charge, and you can take your time deciding afterwards.

Both are Swedish tax deductions on the cost of labour. Garden work (planting, pruning, lawn mowing, tree felling…) qualifies for the RUT deduction: 50 % of the labour cost. Building and carpentry (decks, stairs, fences, renovation…) qualify for the ROT deduction: 30 %. We deduct the amount directly on the invoice and handle all the paperwork with Skatteverket, the Swedish Tax Agency. The ceiling is SEK 75,000 per person per year (of which no more than SEK 50,000 for ROT).

Most garden and carpentry projects take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. You'll get a schedule with your quote, and we stick to it — several of our clients have specifically mentioned that everything was finished on time.

Carpentry and building work can be done perfectly well for most of the year. Planting is best done in spring and autumn, and pruning has its ideal windows depending on the species. During the home visit, we'll suggest the right time for your particular project.
